Chiltrix Inc. manufactures a full line of fully certified ultra-efficient air to water heat pumps, tanks, & accessories.Our accomplished and continuing mission is to build low cost highly reliable ultra high efficiency chiller heat pumps that save money and pay for themselves quickly.
The Chiltrix air to water heat pump chiller manufacturing and engineering team has rich experience in HVAC and energy engineering, having successfully developed and manufactured various DC-Inverter and all-DC air conditioners and heat pumps, solar hybrid ACDC units, and refrigeration heat recovery equipment over a 20+ year history.
In 2013 a development effort was initiated to create an air to water heat pump for the USA market resulting in an advanced AWHP with multiple patent-protected features, a product launch in early 2016, and an Energy Star Emerging Technology Award presented at AHR in 2020. Chiltrix currently holds multiple officially-certified USA and world’s records for the highest efficiency in the industry across the categories of heating, cooling, and domestic hot water.
The Chiltrix air to water heat pumps are certified under UL 60335-2-40 and CSA 22.2 and are AHRI-Certified.
Along the way – not part of the original plan but as a matter of necessity to fill a void in the market, Chiltrix has also developed special water heating and buffer tanks, fan coil units, special controllers, and other system components specifically designed for air to water heat pumps.
Chiltrix product design, engineering, and support are all handled from our offices in Chesapeake, Virginia.
